I feel soo bad for all my peeps going crazy, literally shrinking in size losing muscle mass because they can’t lift “heavy” at the gym right now because I know just how hard it is the get them gains. I decided to post this clip of my reaction to my new blender not only because its #throwbackthursdays and I need to make more space for new content in my phone but also because its #Thankfulthursays as well. Words can’t even express the amount of gratitude to have received this gift just before the Rona hit the states and when I least expected it. I am beyond grateful to experience Christmas in March because it came at a time when I need it most serves not just myself but also my immediate family best. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ All Considered “Essential workers; in Grocery, Hospital security & Assistant living Elderly care & Wellness, we do our best to practice social distancing and stay home on days off. Like everyone we entertain ourselves online but also spend a great amount of time as a family in our kitchen. While food brings most families together; kitchen gadgets that make cooking easier, more fun and save time encourages us to explore more flavors and recipes in our house. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ This is the silliness that happens on the regular that I don’t always get to record. Bae pretends to be jealous, jokingly attempting to take the blender from me here, but her character as a natural giver rarely gets broadcasted. While The small acts of love and kindness she extends to our own family and neighbors are great, the small acts extended to strangers in these trying times by simply giving free rides to elderly persons walking on the streets & groceries shopping for them is the reason I have yet to fall out of love with her. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ This type of goodness the world could user more of right now and should be celebrated and commended. I know just how blessed I am to be living this #quarantinelife with her! I am sooo proud of the progress that we’ve made individually and as a team especially over the last few weeks, having transitioned into quarantine life! While my lifestyle hasn’t been dramatically effected, the chaos that this pandemic has caused effects us all. I can honestly say being apart of my monthly virtual wellness clubs has drastically changed the way I deal with life’s Winters for the better. Instead of worrying, & sitting around about these beyond my direct control. I’ve learned just how much more I can accomplish by simply controlling the controllable. Now getting to that #tuesdaytea⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Can y’all believe that my babe actually got into a car accident this past Wednesday. Yup on her way home from work, a car ran the light dented the bumber on the car and smashed our brand new hubcaps. We ain’t got rims, but we keeps our hubcabs clean. Then because everyone went into a shopping frenzy becuz of the pandemic our grocery delivery was not only delayed a couple days but also of course we didn’t get certain staple items because the stores was out. While not a super huge inconvenience, it was still a setback non the least with meal planning and prep last week. As a result we ended up eating out or ordering ready-made food from the restaurants about 3/4 days last week, once we finished off chicken roast I made. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Lastly, current virtual club updates that now include more live group calls together, had a few hiccups as more people are online now. Despite, the frustration of it all, we committed to showing up and supported each other despite how we felt. These are my 4weeks of Prep Results! The healing that we are seeking in the world starts at home. So I am continuing to do the internal work necessary with being more intentional with how I spend my time.
